Privacy policy
This explains what Royal stores, why, and how to have it removed.
What we store
- Discord IDs of servers, channels, roles and members, so settings and records attach to the right place.
- Server settings chosen by server staff, such as channels, roles, messages and module options.
- Moderation records: cases, warnings, notes, strikes, jails, blacklists, reports and appeals, including the reasons staff write.
- Message content, in limited cases: deleted and edited messages are kept briefly for the snipe feature, for the length of time each server sets. Content members choose to save is also kept — tags, to-do items, reminders, AFK messages, suggestions, custom commands and auto-responses.
- Profile details members choose to add, such as a bio, birthday or time zone.
- Activity in bot features: levels and XP, economy balances, items, game results and similar.
The dashboard
When you log in with Discord, we receive your user ID, name, avatar and the list of servers you're in. These are held in memory for your session only. The access token Discord issues is used once to read that information and is then discarded.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
- We don't read messages except to respond to commands and run features a server has turned on.
Removing your data
Server data is removed when the bot is removed from the server or when staff clear it. To ask for your own data to be deleted, contact the bot owner through the support server.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
